How to Play: Daily Sudoku
๐ฏ The Goal
Your objective is to completely fill the remaining empty spaces in the 9x9 grid so that every single row, every single column, and all nine of the smaller 3x3 square sub-grids (also called regions or blocks) contain the digits 1 through 9 exactly once.
A very important concept to understand is that despite using numbers, Sudoku requires absolutely no math or arithmetic! The numbers act purely as unique visual symbols. You could just as easily play this game using nine different colors, shapes, or letters. The challenge relies entirely on deductive logic and spatial pattern recognition.
๐ The Rules
- The Given Clues: At the start of the game, several numbers are already permanently placed on the grid. These anchor points are your only starting clues and cannot be changed or removed.
- The Rule of One: No digit from 1 to 9 may ever appear more than once in any given row, any given column, or any specific 3x3 block. Duplicates are strictly forbidden.
- Pure Logic: Absolutely no random guessing is ever required. A well-designed, true Sudoku puzzle has exactly one unique valid solution that can be found entirely through a methodical process of elimination.

โญ Pro-Tip for Beginners
One of the most essential techniques to master is called "Cross-hatching." Focus your attention on a single digit (for example, the number 5). Scan the entire board and draw imaginary straight lines across the rows and columns originating from every visible 5. Since no row or column can contain a second 5, these imaginary lines eliminate potential spots in the 3x3 blocks, often leaving only one possible cell for a new 5!
Also, always be on the lookout for "Naked Singles." This occurs when you analyze a specific empty cell and realize that 8 out of the 9 possible digits are already present in its shared row, column, and 3x3 block. By the process of elimination, the missing 9th digit is the only mathematical possibility remaining, leaving it completely "naked" and ready to be safely placed.
